AHF-Uganda Cares promotes condom use as a way for people to protect themselves and their partners against HIV and conducts regular HIV testing events. In addition, the project campaigns where it tests and refers the the positive people for treatment. Uganda Cares patients have a 98% treatment adherence rate to their antiretroviral drug regimens because of the intensive treatment adherence support and follow-up by community based organisations.

Fighting for fair treatment and providing support for people who are survivors of sexual assault and violence
A.N.D International has been established to support victims of rape, whilst highlighting the issues surrounding the topic of sexual assault, raising awareness, standing up for victim’s rights and combating the stigma attached to rape.
We will be running campaigns, holding events, and eventually opening a safehouse in Kampala, Uganda to support women in crisis.

The Women in Democracy Network Uganda Chapter is a local civil society organization registered in Uganda.
